Wow, now that's a big family these days. Even four is rather big. We have several stay at home moms in our neighborhood who seem to network well with one another. I see them picking up one another's children from the nursery school across the street. They ban together because staying home with the children all day can be lonely.

Yes, I agree. Surprisingly in my church family, several women are stay at home moms with the average number of children being four. There is one women who is 44 and and her husband is 48, and they have 10 children ranging in areas of 19 down to 6. Six girls and four boys. Don't see big family like that much anymore.

Sandy, it's interesting to read that you were the only working mom in the neighborhood. Wow, times have changed! I enjoyed reading about you.

I am often amazed at how one person can change another's life path. That's why we need to speak up and share what we see other's gifts to be. We may be that one person!

Sandy,

You have a wonderful calling that has chosen you! I think writing for children is so important, you can really reach those young minds!
You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. Keep it up!

Hi, Sandy. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this interview with you and getting acquainted with a fellow NABBW member. Bless you for the investment you have made and continue to make in the lives of youngsters! What a worthy goal: to motivate and inspire children to be the best they can be! You'll never know how far-reaching your influence will be.

Hi Sandy,
What a pleasure to read your profile. Encouragement is a marvelous gift to give and and receive; and it's wonderful that you took Sr. Kathryn words to heart and pursued your talent in writing for children. You're now passing this gift on to children as you encourage them in their writing endeavours. Your inspiration will no doubt result in many becoming authors themselves one day. May God's blessing continue to upon you in all areas of your life.
